Caden went to the mountains and to the cliff where everything had started. The one he'd tried to end himself on. The man had come back numerous times after that event, it being the start of his internal battles. After about a half hour, Caden went back to the hospital but lingered outside her door, ready to give up.

Rose waited for him, scared tears having left lingering streaks on her face from the coughing and blood

It took a lot from him to head back into Rose's room, eyes red from when he left. Caden faintly smelled of liquor, along with a hint of cedar.

"Caden..." She said, her eyes filling with tears again. "Please...come here..."

His eyes watered, walking over and sitting in his usual spot.

"No, love...it's okay...." She said softly, taking his face in her hands best she could as a tear of her own fear rolled down her face

"I'm so scared, Rose." He told her, voice wavering.

"I know...I am too" She said softly, her thumb stroking his cheek softly

"The doctor said that...." He trailed off, looking down. "he does'nt know what's wrong, no clue. Hes sending us both home with some meds, hoping to help even a smidge." Caden told her quietly, blinking back the tears.
