"Have you wanted to go see anyone recently? Old friends or anything?"

Caden went silent, staring up at the sky. "No."

Rose nodded. "What would you like to do today?"

"I've got meetings all afternoon, thought we could go do something before them." He explained, dreading them.

Rose nodded. "What would we do, though?"

"No clue, maybe drag a boat out from the dock." He suggested, gesturing the the lake they lived on.

"I don't care, i'm just bored" She huffed

Caden stood and walked back into the house, pulling on a pair of trunks. He walked back out, keys in hand. "Go get changed," He asked of her, heading down the beach. By the time she was back, the man had brought a nice looking boat up to the dock, awaiting her.
