Majority of the mod staff are english or atleast fluently speak it as a second language, it is easier for modding and controling situations that everything public is in english, youre allowed to speak whatever language you wish in your game mail
Sweet Valley

Yes well many people who speak in different languages say their language is the best lol. My Grandpa (Who is full french Canadian) when he was learning english was like, "French doesn't have all the words that look alike at the end but sound different like "Through, Cough, Though, etc etc." lol

Horse games are pretty much a niche, there are not many options by default.
But English is a very popular and should be a second language to a lot of people.

Sorry, I didn't mean to open a can of worms with that question ^^;

This is an English-speaking game developed and hosted by English-speaking people. There will be plenty of games in other languages for non-English speakers I'm sure. I wouldn't know since there's no point in looking for games in languages you don't speak
Sweet Valley
11:23:01 Anna/Jewel
Well I am not sure about the game translating. Perhaps they use the whatever-their-language-is- to -english thingy lol.

Lynx- I am 1/4 French Canadian but I can really only say "Hello" "My name is" and "Yes" in French lol. I used a translator for the stuff after "Hello"(The french hello) lol
Prismatic
11:22:43 Prism/Chrome/Rainy
Oh absolutely, I can totally see that.
Shivering Sea

Thing is, supporting other languages means also having staff that speaks their language to help them out, as well as having different communities. It's a massive project that could easily get out of hand.

Ah okay, thanks Min. I tried to find that in the rules but I must have overlooked it,

The site only supports English, no matter where you enter from. What could happen is the browser itself translates the text on its own.

Thanks guys! I switched him to Safechoice Performance (14% protein/9% fat), added Cool Calories and 1 scoop of alfalfa pellets 2x/day and have already noticed a huge difference in him! I also gave him a few doses ulcer guard just to be safe since you guys suggested it.

We also tried to make him barefoot all around (he has been barefoot on the hinds for a couple of years) but he was consistently foot sore so I had the farrier put shoes back on the front. He has so far been sound and has much more energy. He's back to being his sassy, herd bound (eye roll) self. I've started lunging him to build some muscle back and I have hopes he will stay sound and perhaps I can start to trail ride him here and there.

Last pics on original post were July 28th, 2018.

Not sure exactly what has made the most difference, but I can say I switched him to the performance formula with cool calories on the 23rd of September... I feel like it has made a WORLD of difference!!

Full fat soy mean, try a little first to make sure it doesn't send your guy bonkers as soy tends to do this to some horses. I swear by it for fattening up skinny horses, it is my go to product. This mare had been on soy meal for about 3 1/2 months. I'm about to buy some more just to put a little extra coverage on my show hack, it is also high in fats and oils so good for building up muscle :D

For building up muscle, may I make a suggestion or two?

- Beach walks on soft, deep sand.
- Hill walks. With him, try to maintain a steady terrain and footing.
- Water walking. If you have a local river nearby take him for a dip.

All these are relatively gentle but muscle-focused exercises that can be done on foot to help build up muscle and get him used to work again. These are also techniques used by my local racing yard with their yearlings :)

He's filled out nicely though! Sending lots of love and snuggles!

In a similar vein, I was going to recommend Cocasoya. It's a coconut/soy oil blend that works great for weight and the horses seem to find tasty. It's pretty affordable, and convenient...I highly recommend the gallon jug with a pump.

So sorry your boy was sick but glad he's on the mend. He looks sweet.

Thank you guys!

Unfortunately I'm in central Michigan. No beaches nearby and no water I can walk him in :( He is in a hilly pasture though so he's up and down hills a lot while he's turned out with his buddies
