I'm actively involved, as you can tell from my standings on the Leaderboards.
.
That said, I refuse to do the big capture, free range, or geld quests - as they stand, they're not worthwhile in terms of time and effort, and they certainly cost more than they bring a player in a monetary return. Those need to have payouts increased significantly to make them worthwhile to do. Otherwise, they just clog up a quest slot for some players or use up a skip for others. I'll do the smaller quests in those categories, and the FR 50 or 100 work for me at RO - but how often do those coincide?
.
I do most breeding quests - I keep horses with certain genes specifically for those quests. But I automatically skip the brindle quests, because the're only based on luck.
.
Capture a horse with specific genes and specific rating? Skip.
.
Futurity and HEWG quests? Skip - I don't participate in either, so the quests are useless.
.
Mini game quests? Skip - because they're just an annoyance (I play Barn Cats, but only with the hope of earning a few EBs - not to complete the quest).
.
Show quests? Since I show actively in Member Shows, that's great - unless there are three show quests on my list, which happens way too often (and I thought that three of the same category of quest weren't supposed to be on the list at the same time?). Then I have to wait until shows run to be able to start a different quest, which is frustrating.
.
Fetch, shop member shops, and crafting quests? Done immediately. Shop member shops tends to be harder, because there aren't that many of certain high-value items in the shop as there used to be - I don't know if this relates to the drop in player numbers, or to the fact that items won via quest are unable to be listed in the shop (locking all of our items already in our inventories of those types when the newly-won items were locked didn't help, either, as it removed them from shop inventory). But it's become a real problem.
