The nurse nodded, quickly giving her the pain medication.

(Sorry, I'm really struggling with the one liners >.>) After a good ten minutes, Cam slowly felt herself settling down. It was still scary - but the meds had taken a good edge off the pain. She looked up to Kai nervously after a little while, although within another hour or two things just started going... black. She didn't have a clue what was going on around her.

Kai stayed by her side the entire time, holding her hand and murmuring soft reassurances. He listened in to the nurses as they told him what was going on. When it was time, Kai got ready for delivery. "Okay, honey, youre doing great. I'm right here, okay? You're gonna be okay,"

Camery shook her head softly, although soon everything just went dark and it was... quiet. She didn't know what was happening. Hell, she didn't even know if she was alive at this point. It was just peaceful. She let out a soft, deflating breath. Was Kai okay? Was their baby okay? She didn't even know if she was okay herself at this point.

"Cam? Baby? Can you hear me?" He murmured. "Honey, don't do this to me, I need you here, I need you here to deliver this baby," he murmured, more and more worriedly.

Camery could barely hear Kai as he spoke, and while she tried to respond... her body just stayed limp. She couldn't feel anything, couldn't move. It stayed that way for a good ten minutes before she finally shifted, waking with a bit of a start. "Kai," she breathed quietly, her cheeks wet with tears that she didn't even remember shedding.

Kai cupped her face, holding her head up, very worried. "Cam, honey, what happened? What are you feeling? Are you ready to deliver?" he asked softly.

Camery shook her head, feeling dizzy and... not okay. She didn't know what was going on, but she couldn't feel anything. Nothing felt right. She wasn't seeing stright. "I don't... know," she breathed quietly, her head resting back on the pillow.

"Baby, Cam, talk to me, I can't lose you," he breathed, tears welling in his eyes. Nurses ran around, trying to stabilize her in time for delivery, this baby was coming fast.
