Sage came home a few hours later, close to dinner time, with a bunch of rabbits and squirrels, as well as a few birds. It was enough to last them the week at least.

Celeste and Odessa perked right up at the scent of fresh blood, but waited patiently for him to come inside.

Sage tossed one of the rabbits towards each of the women with a chuckle, seeing the color of their eyes and knowing they were hungry. He took one for himself as well, and then glanced at Xander with a wince. "Cook what you want," he noted before tearing into his own rabbit.

Xander smiled sheepishly. "I'm good, thanks though," he chuckled, as Odessa and Celeste teared into their animals.

Sage just shrugged and moved to tear into his own rabbit, devouring the whole thing and then eating the scraps Odessa and Celeste wouldn't eat. Things like bones, guts, etc.
| |

Odessa and Celeste finished up theirs, also leaving the scraps.

Sage ate their bones last, sort of just crunching on them like he might chips.
| |

Celeste and Odessa didn't touch their scraps. "Hey, do you think you could make some of the bones into chew toys for the kids? Especially Att, his fangs have gotten a bit sharp, they're starting to tear his mouth up,"

Sage sort of cocked his head in thought. "I can....these are a little smaller than I'd be comfortable giving him," he noted. "I can go out and find something a little bigger for them"
| |

Celeste nodded. "Okay. We just hafta find something quick before his mouth gets cut up.
