Rose squeezed her hand back and hesitantly followed the doctor, casting one last look at her before following.

"Mr. Ortiz....Or do you prefer Caden?" The doctor inquired softly, his expression obviously controlled

"Just Caden is fine," He informed, body tense, eyes worried.

"Caden...Your wife seems to be doing worse, yet we still don't know what it is that is nearly killing her...We're sending you both home with a few medications but...." The doctor paused, sighing. "We promise to coming back from this. Always expect the worst." He added, nodding to end the conversation and walking off

Caden felt his world spin, alarm bells ringing in his head as the doctor walked off. 'Always expect the worst?' It got worse then this? How? Why? Caden went to his bike and drove up to the mountains, silent the whole way. He needed to cool his mind out before he snapped at somebody. And snap he would.
