So, people were using it to mass transfer low quality horses to abuse the system, and now they dont? And that's a bad thing?

Mainly in the way stock transferred, or stopped.
For anyone with more than a few hundred horses, many suddenly had no more garunteed base value if they couldn't find a buyer past that first 100. And if they breed for AD at a high mass, as I used to, most of the breedings to ratings became a mass negative of -750 per unsold foal. I noticed a lot less free spending at auction in the months afterwards, though with a slow uptick in the recent years.
Anything selling below 1k used to be snatched up quickly by players stalking auctions to FR later, so that turnaround isn't there anymore. Just less movement of stock and currency in auctions in general, unless its a higher quality rating or in-demand horse catching the right eyes at the right time.
I might bid once in a blue moon now, but I don't watch or bid like I used to at all, and have noticed similar trends; thats all ♡

That's partially it, Alexa. A lot's changed in the last few years.
And especially after the big FR-nerf, the auctions took a heavy hit and have never really recovered to what they were before.
You can definitely find some cheap nice horses though!

@Geek, he is a jerk to people too. I just finally feel at peace cutting him out of my life after hearing he was locking his cat in a room with a dirty litter box and little to no food or water.

Is she worth keeping and still breeding for a single discipline AND color or should I say screw it and just use her for one or the other...if that makes sense. She is 1of1 for color.

brown is a form of bay. thats why i said bay. And it doesnt effect anything besides a few names. all it gives you is the "brown buckskin" and "brown smokey cream".
It acts exactly like the Agouti gene because its really just a offwork of it.

you can try and do SD but she has frame. so I dont think she would be very good as a color breeder also. (frame x frame = dead foal) but you can try as long as the horse as no frame she should be good. try adding in some of the genes i said she didnt have,

In the context of the game, the At gene shows up as phenotypiccally brown, not as bay. If somebody was specifically looking for bay, and not brown, this horse would not have the genes to breed a bay horse, it would have to rely on the sire. The OP was asking what the genetic test meant, as far as the game was concerned.

She's a nice SD prospect and she adds color. You can either try to att some patterns she doens't carry like Sun Rain Stables said or pair her with a stud carrying her patterns to get some homozygous genes (meaning the foal get's two dominant alleles like SbSb meaning they're guaranteed to pass on the pattern)
