I see. Hm, which would have 'higher class' folks using it more. Less likely to try something bad on you. I think the grocery would be better the the fastfood...

I am not interested in doing uber or any of the ride ones just maybe the food delivery ones or even better is the shopping and grocery delivery ones. I just don't know if it is worth it and I don't know how to tell which would be best for my area

nope, but if you could have a second person with you for safety that would be great. Also, dog/bear spray sounds like a good second option. :)

So, I am expantding my geldings and have a few questions.
1. Is it worth it to Cycle Suppress mares or should you just FR the PPP ones?
CS only costs 200 so I assume they make it back fairly quickly but is it worth it?
2. Should I only use level 4+ geldings?
Are level 1 geldings worth training up? This is what I've been doing but it takes a while for the to actually earn decent income. Should I stop using geldings I breed and just buy upper level ones?
3. Should I use the BM?
I have used her in the past but lost ebs even when on the show only competitive so is it worth it, or should I show by hand? Time isn't an issue, so would I earn more showing by hand?
4. How many geldings should I have?
I was thinking of getting 200 but I'm not sure that's enough because most larger stables have way more.
5. When should I show a horse?
I do when they have 2x their level in all traits and then one more in one but not sure if I'm missing out on showing them when they have 2x in all. Am I doing it right?
6. Are barns or pastures better?
I know 100 slots are best but do you prefer barns or pastures?

Thanks in advance <3

1. I can definitly recommend them. They earn you back the 200 ebs within their first show(s) and they're usually cheaper to get than geldings.
2. buying level 4+ geldings will cost you around 4k first before they start to earn you any money. So if you have some PPP colts or fillies each year, keep them and train them up. A foal needs to be fed once a week but if you grow your own hay, they're basically for free.
3. I stopped using the barn manager because I make about a third more without her. In my opnion even if you only make her show "competitive" horses, many aren't ready to show. So if time is no problem and you know the basics of showing, enter them by hand.
4. That entirely depends on your breeding program and your other incomes. On my SD account I don't need more than 150-200 geldings/show mares (all offspring of my breeding stock) because I don't have much expenses. On my AD account with a breeding stock of 20+ mares I needed around 1500-2000 show horses to afford ABLB studs and svens. It really depends. I'd recommend 250-300 show horses for AD at least.
5. I enter AD horses 5 weeks after they'd last levelled up. With SD horses I wait 4 weeks. If a horse has no old showing records I use the same method as you and look at the new showing records to tell whether a horse is ready to show or not. I found that even with the same amount of trait bars they get different results. Some horses need more than 2x their level in traits to be competitive, some horses will have levelled up by then and can be shown when they just have 2x their level in training bars. Training weeks after they have levelled up worked best for me.
6. Pastures are great to store your geldings. If the pasture is lush, you don't need hay for your horses. I have barns and pastures because I also grow and sell hay as a second way of income, that also works too.
I hope I helped a little :)

1. I have show mares, but I don't bother CSing them. They train up faster on CS, but they don't necessarily show better, at least not that I've found.
2. NO! Train up all of those geldings that you breed. They may take time to earn money for you, but they're cheaper than buying levelled geldings, and it only hurts for the first few months.
3. I don't particularly like the BM. I've never used her for more than my futurity foals, who are showing no matter what. I prefer showing by hand.
4. I usually start testing the watera four weeks after they've levelled up. Most start to do well after five weeks. That being said, if an AD horse has levelled in one area and not in another, I'll immediately swap the horse over to the unlevelled discipline.
6. Pastures save you money on hay, but your horses need to be rotated off of them for the grass to regrow. Personally, I prefer barns to pastures, just because of the constant rotation.

About pastures: you can use water to increase the quality without rotating the horses.
