Lani is going to the vet tomorrow to be preg tested. Strawberry's udder is getting bigger. If Lani didn't get in foal I will be disappointed, but I'm happy to have at least 1 foal due this year. |

The verdict is: Lani is also expecting! She is quite small at the moment, we expect her to be due around November/December <3 |

I am just sitting down for my morning coffee! I was standing at the kitchen window contemplating breakfast when Lani and Koda started cutting sick, I thought the emus were back. Mum stuck her head out the door to look for the emus because she was going to take Lacey for a walk and all I heard was "Oh my god Jay, there's a foal!". I would like to welcome this beautiful chestnut skewbald filly to the world, to be named Pelamine Soraya. Soraya is out of Ashlow Strawberry Fields Forever (Yabudarra Skeeba x Belron Hooney Bun), and is by Helenka Sharmond (Colandra Park Midas x Helenka Shardelle). She's a slightly early surprise for us as I have been monitoring Strawberry's udder regularly for changes and she barely had a bag at the last check! Both mum and bubs are doing great! Here are some photos, I will post more as she unfolds ^_^
