Nathan didn't really sleep that night. He almost never sleeps now. Nate went back to the arena and started prepping for the last rodeo of the week. After he had finished hanging up some banners, he walked over to the main arena and watched some of the riders practice in the ring from his seat, sitting on top of the top railing of the arena. He spotted the girl from yesterday and watched her. She did ride well. |

(Sorry, was getting upgrade lol) Dakota saw the guy from yesterday and had to resist looking toward him. She kept guiding her mare around the ring, now loping. She hopped off, drawing a large X in the middle of the arena and practiced loping around it as if it were a barrel. |

Once Secret could do the pattern with her eyes closed, Dakota glances at the time. 3pm. Shit. Riding for 3 hours... She thought, hopping off ad walking Secret to the trailer for a break before the competition. She gave the mare water and some hay, exchanging the bridle for a halter. |

Nate watched for a little while longer before someone called him over to help check some of the bulls for the bull riding event. |

Dakota sat on a lawn chair next to her horse, watching the sounds of the rodeo and occasionally responding to texts. "Only a half hour, then we go warm up, girl." Dalota said, patting Secret wh's haynet was empty. |

After a bit more waiting, Dakota hopped onto Secret. The drill team was already out, flashing the flags left and right. Dakota walked Secret to an empty medium-sized pen before loping around a bit. "Dakota riding Secret is our last contestant tonight!" The announcer said as Dakota walked the prancing Secret to the alley. Dakota held her in for a moment before letting the mare take off like a bullet, weaving expertly around the barrels. Dakota's stomach tightened as Secret nearly knocked over the last barrel. Dakota gave the mare rein, hoping Secret was at top speed, as they sped through the timer. 15.65 seconds. Dakota was mindlessly patting Secret's neck as she walked out of the arena. |

Nate watched the girl do her run, making sure to remember her name. Dakota, that was a pretty name. After she finished her run, Nate was immediately dragged off to continue working. He helped clean up and pack up a few things before he handed out prizes in the arena. |

Dakota won third again this time, staying at her position. She went to collect another check and her buckle, noticeing the same guy again. She shot him a smile before collecting her items and walking out. She was blushing before she got to the truck where a very tired looking Secret stood, one hoof relaxed. |

Nate smiled at her back as he handed her her prize. After he finished handing out prizes, he went back to packing up everything. Today was the big clean up day as there was no rodeo after today. . (Do you have any ideas on how they should meet?) |
