No. Nalo is in a 20 gallon long, which is about 12" tall.

My 20 gallon is an Aqueon, my 40 is a Marineland (I think). I love them both. And if you buy them new, stores will have a return policy on them in case a seam leaks or theres a crack you can't see.

The only time I recommend buying second-hand is if you're purchasing a large tank and are willing to learn how to reseal it. Otherwise, it's cheaper (and safer) to buy from a store!

Oh also, I heard betta fish like shallow water so does that mean something as tall as 12" is too tall for them?

Do you guys have any tank brand recommendations? I definitely need one with a lid.

They are great for supplies! Our LFS actually partners with them because of how much they recommend them.

I was thinking of ordering supplies from this company. I have heard good things and they have good guides.

Checkout used tanks often people will be nearly giving them away, just make sure to fill it up outside first for a few days to make sure it’s not leaking. Never take a tank with cracks even if they’re small and are current ply holding water

Or, you can typically do it cheaper by piecing it together yourself. Tank, light, cover(optional), heater, filter, air pump, airline hoses, bubble wand, substrate, and then obviously decorations (nothing plastic) and the fish.

I reccomend tetras as well, you want a lot 10-20 as theyre schooling fish and they have a high casualty rate especially when you first get them

You can get a 20 gallon tall kit at most pet stores for about $200 that will include just about everything except substrate, plants, and fish.

Bird, I loved my tetras, I believe I had the 2 for 4/5 years? But do be weary when you get them, I originally had 4 but unfortunately we lost 2 very shortly after due to the 'professionals' we talked with I'll informing us on the best amount for our tank!

Like with anything it takes a lot of research (and it's a bit of an investment) to do things right.

Bettas are definitely able to get away with a 10. I just wouldn't go lower, they explore and swim around way more than people realize

Bird, Unfortunately I never got to try a planted tank, but I've heard amazing things! I do really wish I'd had time to lol

For preferably a smaller tank. Less than 20 gallons.

I made a poll a lot while back, you can find it here. It got some interest and I thought about posting a shop. I enjoyed making the bio for myself and it could have many different options. I asked about pricing and was told about 20k. I felt that was a little low. Maybe for something really basic, but if I'm finding, or creating images, coloring lineart (which go for 50k), or pixel ponies, possibly gifs or links or a bunch of text. I feel these images are worth way more than 20k. Just wanted some more opinions!

I think it depends on the elements that the customer wants in their bio. If it's similar to the one shown, I'd pay 30k ish. Have specific prices for specific add ons (ex. pixel pony included= 50k each or whatever you decide to put it at). Solely going off of the example, it seems pretty basic feature wise in my opinion. Having a handful of clicky images for, say, art shops/clubs/etc, a little text blurb, and maybe a few highlight horses photos would generally go for less than 50, 60k I assume. But, since it would be a new addition to art shops, people may be willing to pay a tad more.
