I did for a time but long term they eventually died off because I wasn’t doing more than squirting fertiliser in, And they were in gravel so not nutrients. they were just higher maintenance than I had energy for

Lol another thing you can do is you can use a plant like pothos that can live with their roost fully in water and the betta can live amongst the roots if you suspend the plant above the tank with just the roots in the water

Ok so this is a genuine question for any parents on HEE - My mom said dinner's ready and I said what are we having. She said chicken, shrimp, and salad. I said what kind of salad and she started freaking out and telling me I'm rude and not supportive. Now here's the question - Is there a reason for this?

I think a lot of people think keeping live aquarium plants is hard, but most of the common ones you find you don't have to do any extra things to care for them. Maybe take out any dead leaves when they have them but they live off of the waste from the fish

I don't have a full picture of the set up but here is my boy and you can kind of see the set up. I did cycle the tank before hand

Bird, With fish tanks bigger is actually easier, it depends on the space you have available but with the nitrogen cycle bigger tanks are much easier to maintain water quality, smaller tanks are more likely to have something like an ammonia spike happen quicker. Big tanks are much more forgiving. I have a 500L which I upgraded from. 300L. Those are both too big for a betta though so don’t think you need that. 5-10g will be perfect

That is literally where they originate. It isn't spreading anything. They originate from thailand and asia and live in stagnant pools.

Never to big for aquariums! Always go the biggest you can afford!

@Zz, I was thinking of a 5 gallon or maybe even 10 gallon, but I'm worried that might be too big.

Here are examples

I think you are over charging a smidge I would lower the all cuts to be a little bit cheaper than all of your art cut options combined so they will want to buy all cuts more. Plus I love you art but sometimes it is a little inconsistent (which happens, I do it all the time) as you try out new styles and find what works for you. So keep that im mind as you fix your pricing. But I really don't think your pricing is outrageous, and love the art sm!!

The first 4 pieces (pegasus, appy, grulla(?) and blanket appy) I would happily pay 250k ebs for, maybe more. The other two, maybe about 80k?. I feel like pricing should be based on the individual piece but I know that is hard when telling someone a price for a custom piece because that requires a price now not later. If you do pre-mades, I would definitely suggest considering pricing each piece individually and not based on your set prices :)

I definitely understand your pain with pricing, I was juggling mine for a while 😅
I think your pricing is quite fair for you work, the all cuts is a little on the high side. I would lower that a little in my opinion.
Your pricing will be able to go up once you are comfortable adding a ground shadow, playing with temperatures and hues of shadowing/mid tones/ highlights as that does seem to possibly be a weaker point.
So for now where you are pricing wise I think is quite fair.
Another suggestion is when it comes to horse avatars I would maybe have a base price for the more simple pieces and then be able to move around when it comes to adding difficult markings or maybe different things that take alot more time and effort.
If you ever need help don't be afraid to reach out to me! I can also make you a "prices and terms/condition" sheet like you can find on my shop ❤️❤️
