@Glacier, do you have a cat tree? Despite having owned 2 cats previously I have never had one. My mom forbade it because they were "tacky and ugly."

@Boulder, sometimes Finley likes to climb things and just chill from a place that is higher up. He used my ironing board as his perch for a day when I left it out.

What breed do you have to breed a Appendix Quarter Horse with to not get a Appendix Quarter Horse?

I snagged mine from the animal shelter I worked at. It was in great condition and I sprayed it liberally with a cleaner before bringing it home.
Three tier for like thirty bucks.

My cat would slide all over that wooden one and probably wouldn't use it because of the texture
He's been known to fail jumping on the couch and bed - and likes the traction of fabric/carpet to cling to as he scales the side.
He likes perching on it to look out the window at the birds, but prefers his couch for lounging

Simply cutting out a horse & placing it on a bg usually doesn't go for much. I'd work on grounding and lighting and making it look real before going to high t3, and I'd get your hair and markings/patterns down before trying for t2. I understand it may feel like you're not getting anywhere, but T2 will come with time. Try to focus on quality of pieces rather than quanity (producing as many pieces as you can). Play around with your style and maybe try some tutorials. There are a lot of good ones out there, especially on DA.
