yup! usually blue eyes are seen when there's pink skin/white pigment around them, though not always. Sometimes a white pattern that doesn't go over the eyes still causes them to be blue

Genetic question, on HEE what genes can make a horse have blue eyes? I've got an art idea, but I'd like it to be genetically accurate. ;P

Can champagne make blue as well as green?

Okay, so the best way to earn money in this game is to show and I know a lot of the top players have breeding lines as well. My question is, theoretically could you succeed in the game with a barn full of show geldings and NOT breed? I'm asking because breeding/genetics is a weak spot for me, so I'm just exploring my options a bit on how to succeed and what not. Thanks!

Depends on what you mean by "succeed". There's several leaderboards dedicated to showing, along with end of year awards for federation horses.

There are uncounted ways to play HEE at all.

The original purpose of the game was showing your horses in eventing shows and maybe make it to the HEWGs at the end of the gameyear.

And for THIS purpose you are able to breed your own show horses.
If you want to go for AD or SD is up to every player.

But in the past gameyears breeding took over the gameplay and became somehow more important than showing to many players.

But it is up to every single player how they want to play the game.
If you want to just breed, just show, just go for a certain color or for color rarity etc etc etc

Every way is fine and the right one to the very player ;)

Yes there is. The breeding boards tend to be where the top stallions/mares are listed. These are broken down by top top stallion/mare eventers/dressage/cross country/jumping/bravery over all, and then it's broken down by breed. Those tend to be the main breeding leaderboards.

From there, there's overall/yearing earnings/points, riders, and teams. Which are all showing related. From there, there's junior rider's rally and federations which are both premium features. Federations have end of year shows where the top point earning horses compete against each other. Later in a horse's show career, this opens up the potential for earning qualifier points for the horse eden world games.

You can end up earning stable awards from all of these.
