I'd say maybe 10-15k? It's not bad for your first time trying most of those things. Here's some pointers, if you'd like:
-By painting over the horse with white/grey, a lot of the definition has been lost, making it look less realistic. Colour changes can be really tricky, especially getting a non-white horse to look white, but it's generally better to use adjustments and filters for colour and lighting rather than repainting. Repainting while preserving detail is really tricky and time-consuming! Here's some tutorials that might help you out: Link Link#2
-The shadow doesn't look super shadow-like to me. It looks too grey-brown and smudgy and not black enough. For shadows, I use black to paint in the shadow where it should be, then lower the opacity of the layer until it looks the way I want it. You can also just use a paintbrush at a lowered opacity, and that way you can also make different parts of the shadow different opacities.
-The muscle lines you've added are a good start, but they look a little too sharp. What I do with my shadow lines is I take a smudge brush and smudge them out a bit, mainly the ends, so they fade in a bit and look more natural. It will also look more natural if you do some larger shadow lines as well (they may need to be at a lower opacity) so you have some variety in size. This is also a good reason why it helps to keep some of the details from the original stock: it tells you where you should add in shadows and definition to make the shadows look natural.
Overall, well done!

Here's a fairly recent piece of mine, where you can see that I've added black (and white) lines for definition and lighting, but I've smudged them out a bit so they look softer and more natural:
