@someday, I live at home with my mom and are renters, but I think we deserve our deposit back when we move out. The previous renters didn't clean the carpets even though they were supposed to, left a bunch of junk in the garage, and we're three weeks late moving out.

oh I know nowadays the cost is horrible! We were just two gals trying to make bills

I think the rental company is just trying to keep my entire deposit and padding the bill. I called the same company that did the cleaning and was quoted $50/hour for a move out deep clean of the same size house.

@PK, i've no doubt it is very hard work. I can understand the reason for having two people there as it helps keep the workers accountable. I am just surprised it cost that much.

Bird, we were just charged $1,300 for a move out deep clean by the rental company we were leasing from. I have disputed it, because holy cow! I am in the wrong line of work if that is the price for cleaning a 3 bedroom house for 3 hours. I happen to know it took them 3 hours because I bought the house across the street and was home when they were there. I dont think the rental company realizes I could see the whole thing.

I can clean my house by myself in 2 1/2 hours, but these companies are saying it takes two people the same amount time.

@Angels, since you have both a big and small enclosure I don't think trying the bigger one would hurt since you can always put them back in the smaller one. Whereas when I had a reptile I didn't want to worry about buying a whole other enclosure.

Okay I may start getting more supplies for it then. I have had bad experiences with putting baby reptiles in too big of an enclosure and they can't find their food, then I have to downgrade them so they do well

I have an empty 20 gallon long tank and I am debating putting my baby leo in it. Right now he is in a platic bin cage that is about the size of a 10 gallon just not as tall. I am always worried about putting baby reptiles in too big of a cage. Online it says a baby is supposed to go in a 20 gallon but I don't know. thoughts?

It's funny, the last Breyer I bought was a week or so ago when I was buying a saddlepad for my (real) dressage saddle. It'd been ages since I'd bought one. But it was the Medicine Hat Stallion; I'd always loved him and never bought him and he was only about $15 or something.

I honestly don't remember how many I have - I know I sold off about 40 or so about 7 years ago, so I'm probably down to a few hundred. I never remembered how the scads of stablemates figured in. Really can't recall hah. I was just talking about going through them the other day and selling a lot of them off. I'd love to go back to Breyerfest and rent a room out at the holiday inn (that's where it is yes?) That'd be SO MUCH FUN.

I had over 2500 at one time. I ended up down sizing my collection big time however. I don't know how many I have left at the moment.

I only have around 7 traditional models because they are so expensive where I live!
I did however manage to pick up a peterstone and two breyerfest special runs online. I would love to get more. I haven't added to my collection since 2014/15.

I have a small handful of breyers, but they are too expensive for me to keep collecting. My favorite model is easily Nokota, he was my first Traditional model, a big second to Big Ben and third would be Big Chex to Cash.

I've always wanted the original Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron traditional models, but they're always so darn expensive on eBay.

You can't even find the Rain model anymore since they've now completely changed it to the "new Spirit series on Netflix."

At least they have the old Spirit model out again, hopefully I could snag it...

Ooh and the Zodiacs are quite pretty!

I only have just under 30, or just over 30 Breyer models. I haven't checked recently, and I don't know about stablemates. Plus the other random horse models that I have I probably have mistakingly counted as Breyers. xP

It sucks that their average cost is like $25-60.. I mean, they're amazing models, but I can't afford to throw so much to buy them. Hence why I haven't gotten any recently. I don't think for the past 2-3 years.
