Issy - oh yeah the BM has been a huge help. I think my RO's been pretty typical, too, although I've gotten a single filly at least she's sort of a win. one decent colt too I think but the rest were P/E combos. including my one splurge on a WWW match for Aster ;;;.;;; I about sobbed

Gladius yehp. Its a bit of a distraction although im finding i care less ha. Pretty typical RO. Loads of EEEs .-. Got a cute 1/1 EWW filly + 1 WWW pon colt. Only 1 match to go but not holding my breath. How's it been for you?

I think I may do that lol. Just play musical chairs with enclosures xD
Then I can move Pancake into Pixies current enclosure and hope she does okay 🙃
I hate how small of an enclosure she is in at the moment but she is really bad about not eating if her enclosure is too big. Maybe she is established enough now though

gotta love the stresses of breeding lol. I actually want to go weigh my girl now

I feel that lol
My girl Pixie from the first clutch I ever hatched is probably close to big enough to breed but I don't have a male for her. I don't think Popcorn my lilly white is big enough yet.
I could move my new pair into the bigger enclosure my non breeding gargoyles are in and add her to make a trio? I am not sure though. All three are super sweet so I doubt there would be any issues.

The fact that you do not have a single W in you with your colour is just rude

Awe that sucks.
One of the babies from my clutch in march died. I think something was wrong with him though. His sibling is going great and is already double the size he was when he hatched but the one that died never grew

For those of you who don't know, I have a pretty unique art style. I hand repaint all of my horses. I've been working on a more realistic style of shading, but I've taken a break due to lack of motivation. I've been a little discouraged because me art doesn't get a lot of attention, auctions are empty, my shop if slow. And It's kinda discouraging. I was thinking about maybe going back to the traditional body prep, because I did that in the beginning, and my work would be higher quality. I just don't know if I want to give up on my style.
There's my gallery if you'd like to see my work.

Okay so I like the fact you repaint all the horses, it's your own style and I honestly think it looks good.
however, I would definitely try adding more shadows/lighting on the horse. Don't be afraid to go in with the darker colours! Especially under the head, neck, legs etc. the muscle detailing on the horses is fine, and quite well done. But shadowing/lighting is one thing that sticks out for me.
you could add those in different ways! Either go in and paint them as you did, or duplicate the horse layer, darken it then erase the parts that don't need shadow. This is also how I do my lighting.
Secondly, grounding. I add a slight shadow onto the horses hoof and the floor on a separate layers, gives the illusion that the horse is on the ground. (I see you've done this on some of them)
Theyre the only two things that stick out to me.
dont be discouraged! Art is just trial and error at the end of the day. :)
if that didn't make sense I'm sorry LOL, but if you need further help don't hesitate to PM me :)
