Shade listened attentively to their responses. Feeling herself blush slightly as she realized she had assumed they were a herd. Well, if they weren't sure they were a herd... what were they? She shook her thoughts from her head turning her sky blue gaze back to the three horses in front of her. Hearing the chimera speak, she looked to him. A slight blush showed as he looked her over. Was he judging her? She fidgeted slightly, feeling uncomfortable suddenly.

"Sort of a herd?" she asked, pinning her ears at how much she was embarassing herself. This wasn't like her, she was usually so confident. Perhaps it was the fact that she hadn't seen other horses in months. She wasn't sure how to react with them. She was a new horse who had stumbled onto this herd... friends... group of horses- whatever they were! Then she had asked them if they were a herd, and rambled on and embarassed herself. Perhaps she should just shut her mouth until she felt a little more comfortable.

The chimera stallion seemed a little awkward too, and perhaps the others were, but they didn't show it as noticeably as he did. This made her feel a little more relaxed. It wasn't just her who felt self conscious at the moment. She flicked her tail at a few pesky flies, waiting for their response.

Hearing a small whisper of voices on the wind, Abby perked her ears. Perhaps her mind was playing tricks on her out of her desperation. She swished her tail, pawing at the wet sand. She had dug about two feet deep before she decided to go investigate. Trying not to get her hopes up, Abby went at a canter towards where the sound was coming from.

It was a long while later when she saw some horses up ahead. Ducking behind some trees and hiding in the shadows, she looked on. What are they doing? she wondered. From what she'd gathered, the pearl mare was just meating the other three. Pinning her ears out of nervousness, Abby bolted through the trees away from the horses. She went to a nearby meadow, breaking through the treeline and feeling intstantly less trapped.

Going at a full-on sprint around the meadow, Abby let out whinnys of joy, relaxing herself after the nervous encounter she'd just had. What was she doing? She should be going to say hi to them. She was so lonely, she needed to take this chance. Yet, she couldn't make herself. She felt terrified, so she stayed in the meadow, slowing to a trot as she went around in large circles, jumping and whinnying.

Shade saw the stallion [Storm] flash her a quick, yet shy, smile. She returned it, starting to feel just the tiniest bit more comfortable. A smile was nice. Perhaps she would be friends with these horses, afterall. First, she had to get through this awkward conversation, though.

"I'm sorry if I've made it awkward," she apologized, her eyes softening in a sorta-smile. "I believe you three haven't even had this conversation yet, and I just kinda forced it on you," she continued, looking at the ground embrassedly and swishing her plumage. Her sky blue eyes slowly moved back upwards to look at the horses, and she flicked an ear awkwardly.

"May I join you? I simply want a herd to join. My previous herd wasn't very kind to me, so I left," she stated. She hoped these horses didn't judge her based on how awkward and shy she was. She wasn't normally like this. She was usually so confident, but meeting new horses was always hard. She just hoped they accepted her into their group, whether it was technically a herd or not.
