It is so hard to live each day with a man who loves money and beer. I know he cares but it isn't enough. I have no friends, no one I can talk to because 6 years ago I moved 1800 miles from my home. The one sister I have here barely speaks to me. I am so lonely. I have no money to do anything or go anywhere. I know I made my own bed and have to lie in it. I really miss my home and friends, but they have pretty much move on without me, so going back isn't the answer even if I could afford it. I never should have moved. |

This sounds so hard, I am so sorry you have to go through this. Please know that so many people's inboxes on here are open and friendly. It's not the same as talking in person, but every little thing helps. If you need to vent or simply ask advice, I am available and so are so many others. You are loved <3 |

Oh my dear. You don't have to lie in this bed, I know it not the same, but remember Tina Turner. Make a plan, it may take 6 months or a year, get out when you can. My sister's husband kept wasting their money, she had to get out. Now she has a small bungalow by the sea, no mortgage. He is renting a flat. Hard, hard, but you are the only one one who can make that change. God bless and good luck. |

I'm really sorry to hear you're having a hard time <3 If you're unable to relocate back to where your family and friends are, and feel alone, I would look for volunteer opportunities, community groups or clubs, a public library, etc, just to maybe make a friend or two (or even a friend group!) for some support. If you're able to work, a part-time job is also a really good start, provided you have reliable transportation. It's way easier said than done, I know, but we have your back here, and there's always a reason to push forward to happier times <3 |

If your boyfriend struggles with addiction there are some support groups for loved ones of addicts. (For people whose have loved ones with addiction, not the loved one) Al-Anon is in a lot of cities. If you feel more comfortable with online help, Al-Anon has some support online. You can pm me if you need help finding support. There are some unoffical forums as well. Sorry you are going through this. :( |
