They probably suck though. I have mostly quest mares in the PPP-EEP range and some show gelds. You are probably right it's got something to do with the amount of breeders

Also relative to how large (100 people) the leaderboards are, I don't think there's a gigantic pool of people to be on them. I think there's most people I've even seen online is like 350. So it kinda makes sense

You do have quite a lot of AAs alive that you've bred, I suppose those stats add up

I'm on the KNN and AA leaderboards somehow. No clue how that's supposed to make sense

Yeah I think that's how it works Min. Makes sense, at least in my case

Yeah I think its the colour/gelds/random keepers that drag LB placings down as it's done on the average. If you only breed a few high quality foals a year you'd probably do better than someone breeding 10 WWWs but also 600 PPPs they keep back

Yeah that's what I mean by promptly. A month vs a year is quite significant 😅

Fodder foals get deleted during the following RO. So they stick around for a montg

But fodder foals get released/deleted quite promptly don't they? Whereas geldings stick around for like.. a year

I don't know. I also produce fodder foals here.

I produce tons of AAs for geldings, but maybe that's bad for my LB placement? xD

Oh nevermind. Dropped off X board

Just checked. I'm #1 RID, WB, KNN, X and AA breeder. Lol.

Blanketing Help? September 9, 2018 02:56 PM

My gelding, Merlin, is difficult to find a blanket for, and I'm hoping someone can recommend a specific brand or even a specific blanket. He's a big boy at 16.3 hands, and wears a size 81. He's an Oldenburg with high withers and fairly big movement, and while he's not *super* destructive, he's playful enough that it needs to be able to withstand some tough love. He gets shoulder rubs super easily when blanketed, and I'd like to find a blanket that minimizes that (I have a shoulder guard, but I don't think it does enough).

I live in the good old pacific northwest, so it DOES NOT STOP RAINING in winter. Our winter temperature is usually 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit, with an occasional dip into the twenties and below. It does not usually snow here, just gets wet and muddy. Anyone have suggestions? Could also use some help for our wet, 50 degree falls.

Hahahahahaha *ded*

I have one of those. >.>
He wears an 84, and is 100% mass destruction.
He bites and pulls on his blankets non-stop.
Lives out 24/7
Rubs on a bunch of trees cause itchy. >.<
And hes got one set of MASSIVE withers.
He es my shark. <3

I really really like the Saxon's 1200D for him.
It's nothing fancy. Is actually pretty cheap. But hes never ripped one and never gotten soars of any kind with it.
I find the water proofing to be great, as well.
He basically lives in the lite weight sheet through the winter here.

I had this for my horse for a few years and still looks brand new. You probably need to see about a different fill because 300 would be a lot for your region (I'm in NY). My horse was turned out 24/7 with three (sometimes more) horses. But he was a wider than he was tall qh 😂 but same blanket fit my moms narrow appaloosa mare just as well.

But no top seam for leaks, you can adjust around the neck and chest for best fit. Inside is just the silky nylon so easy slippery no rubbing. Roomy for movement. Belly straps, legs straps, tail flap. And water proof. Though you can also buy a can of water proofing just to give it an extra oomph.
