They probably suck though. I have mostly quest mares in the PPP-EEP range and some show gelds. You are probably right it's got something to do with the amount of breeders

Also relative to how large (100 people) the leaderboards are, I don't think there's a gigantic pool of people to be on them. I think there's most people I've even seen online is like 350. So it kinda makes sense

You do have quite a lot of AAs alive that you've bred, I suppose those stats add up

I'm on the KNN and AA leaderboards somehow. No clue how that's supposed to make sense

Yeah I think its the colour/gelds/random keepers that drag LB placings down as it's done on the average. If you only breed a few high quality foals a year you'd probably do better than someone breeding 10 WWWs but also 600 PPPs they keep back

Frost is a feedlot gelding, so for one, very hard to handle because he wants to run away from "Danger". I have some videos/pictures I'd like to share with you guys :)

FYI, I've been riding Frost for a couple months now, I rode him bareback today and fell off twice xD He was also the first horse i did competitions on.

I''m going to see him again soon, any tips on how to have him keep his head down and to get him to not want to go go go?

Oh he is such a cutie!

Question: By feedlot gelding do you mean he was rode on a feedlot?

However, for the keeping his head down and not wanting to go go go, I would be sure that he is getting an adequate amount of feed for his activity level. When my gelding was younger he got absolutely no grain and was still hot - he could get hot off of grass hay. I always found consistent riding and keeping him on pasture helped manage his energy levels (now he is getting a little older and wiser about his energy usage XD). Once he is at an adequate energy level, you can address his head and body carriage as any horse that is strung out is going to fight giving to the bit and lowering his head down into a relaxed position. Do as much lateral and vertical flexing as you can do at all speeds (starting at a standstill and working your way up, I highly encourage you to watch some youtube videos or talk to a trainer to help you out) to help with the head carriage. If you have anymore questions, feel free to message me!

Im pretty sure a Feedlot gelding is a gelding rescued from a Feedlot. All though I could be wrong.

Yes that is what I mean't

He came from the feed lot, meaning he was being fed a lot so he would gain weight then they would butcher let and use their body parts for stuff and meat for foods. But thanks for the answer :)

He's cute!!

Any chance you can lunge him beforehand to get some of that extra energy out? That's what I do with my guy - helps get the bucks and kicks out before I get on lol. You can also throw lots of circles/serpentines/etc. to keep things interesting and slow him down a bit.

Yeah, usually I ride with my friend when I ride him, and he wants to follow her mare everywhere, and the same thing with her mare and following him. So I think that it also has something to do with the fact he came from the feed lot and was abused.
