Officially show bound again! Tim's getting hauled up now, so excited.

Had a pretty solid trail go tonight! Excited to see if we place tomorrow. SMS, EQ, and english pleasure tomorrow!

Had such an awesome weekend! firsts under both judges in trail, and tons of other awesome placings. We ended up 3rd or 4th overall in our divison, and we were super close to reserve high point. Our strong suit is the english, and we just weren't feeling it together as a team on english day, and came short points 🤷🏼‍♀️Always next time, so not super worried shout it!

So I actually suck at updating this, and just realized I haven't said anything since our last show. Here's some pictures!

Managing Sports/School

Show bound once again this weekend! I play softball, so my scedule for riding has been super messed up the past few months trying to ride around my softball games/practices. Trying to find time isnt something commonly discussed in the equestrian community, but it really should be! As a full time highschool student with finals/exams coming up, year round athlete with daily practices (volleyball and softball), and a competitive (showing several times monthly) junior rider, I really couldn't be more busy LMAO. Until school and softball ends, this is my riding scedule as of now. Not being able to ride everyday is completely normal. This is something I wish i would've seen a few years back. My advice to all is, if you want to try something new, wether it's a sport, etc, just try it! Trying to manage my time with sports and horses is definitely hard, and has left me at the barn riding at 11pm after a 9pm practice, but I honestly wouldn't change it for the world. If you're truly dedicated you can always make time for something! To show you all what I mean, this is my scedule for this week, note I literally have a show this weekend.

So as you can see, I'm literally only able to get 2 rides in before this show, luckily it's only a lower open show, but if it was anything other than that I'd be out of luck. Regardless, I'm super excited to show, and I'm confident in me and Timmy as a team to do fine despite not being able to work together as much as usual!

Had a really good lesson yesterday! I'm super wxcited for this weekend, but after discussing with my trainer, we're just going to use these shows to school since they're lower open level, and points don't matter since i'm not doing the whole circuit. I have a few friends going all from different barns, so i'm excited to see everyone again! I'll probably update this saturday when i'm banding, etc.

Had some awesome goes yesterday! Picking up 1sts in sms and HUS, 2nd in EQ, and a 5th out of a deep halter class! Photographers were there, so hopefully I can get some of those pictures!
