Caden drifted off, welcoming rest. |

He had a few nightmares of recent doubts, awaking with a jolt. His heart beat too fast--his breathing too shallow. Caden stumbled out onto the balcony, gripping the railing as he sucked in cold lungfulls of air. What was the nightmare, you may ask, and I shall answer. A knife in his hand. A bleeding out figure at his feet. Emily's face on the figure. Crying out for him to stop. |

Emily woke, walking to him. "You alright?" |

He flinched at her words, looking back and the figure flashing before his eyes again. Caden just nodded, not able to look at her the same. |

"No, you didn't do anything, I promise." He murmured, turning back around and walking to her. Caden pecked her lips, arm lingering around her waist. "C'mon, let's get some sleep." |
