I smiled, throwing my trash away before wiping any crumbs off the counter and into my hand, tossing them in the trash. "Well, I need to head out, same time tommorrow?" |

She nodded, getting up and hugging him, a tear rolling down her face as she breathed in his scent. "I'm so sorry" |

I didn't expect her to hug me, yet I immediately wrapped my arms around her and pulled her to my chest, cupping her face and tilting it upwards, wiping her tear with my thumb. "It's okay," I whispered, searching her gaze. |
