He smiled hazily, a medic coming and having him drink a concoction. Gale started to feel drowsy, panic arrising. "Shit, what the hell was that?" He asked, the medic not looking up. "A sleep medicine, without rest you won't heal Gale, and you sure are a stubborn patient who declares he's fine. So, if you won't do it willingly then the medicine will." She explained, the man looking up at Kayla. "No I--You don't understand, what if I... don't wake... up..." He murmured, the drugs pulling him under. |

"what the hell did you give him?" She demanded to the medic, standing furiously |

"A type which forces him to sleep, since he hasn't and those time you've seen him shut his eyes is just from the pain. Now he won't sleep and insists hes fine so this is the only way we can work on him." She noted casually, grabbing a needle and thread. |

"he'll be fine though, right? You didn't screw him over of nothing?" She demanded, anger radiating from her. "Did you even ask him how he felt about that, because I didn't hear it. If you wanted him to rest, I could get him to but you don't need to fucking go around, shoving drugs in people's faces" |

"Ma'am please calm down," She started softly, interupting her once she got too loud. "I am assuming you care about him and if you do then you will know i'm trying to help him and if you keep insisting on yelling then I am going to have to ask you to leave. Is that clear?" The medic asked, tone enough to stop even Gale. |

The woman went and put something on his wounds, the pain dragging Gale out of the haze quickly. "What the--" He muttered, attempting to get up. A few other medics came and pinned him down, arms, legs, shoulders, anything to keep him still. One pressed the side of his face into the cot, Gale snarling at them. "I swear on my life i'm going to kill you all, every last one--" The man threatened, going dead silent as they started working on his back again from pain. "Ma'am, now is usually a gruesome point for others to watch, please, do leave." A medic asked Kayla, Gale still snapping curses at them between groans. |

"no" she said, sitting by Gale's head. "Hey, they're helping you, love. It's okay" |

"No they're not, they're just making it worst." He remarked, eyes darting everywhere. ~ By the time they were done he was dead silent, heaving in breaths as the pain flared like wildfire. "Feels... feels like they took everything out and put it back in wrong." Gale murmured, slipping his eyes shut before forcing them back open from fear. |
