A knock arose from my door. "Sire?" The person outside called, a babble following. "Come in," I called back, grinning at the sight of Malakai as I gently took him from the messenger, listening as they explained everything to both me and Kayla. |

"Seems you're a healthy little----WHY DO YOU HAVE THAT--" I panicked, seeing the blade in his hands, quickly pulling it away before replacing it with the stuffie he'd brought along. |
