Trying to shift things around in the compounds is so hard on mobile. I definitely think there should be another option to do it as well

thing with mine is i somehow got it to work once, moved a pasture to it, but now i cant delete it because its not empty. i cant empty it because i cant get it to work again- it was a miracle that it worked at all to begin with. now clicking and dragging anywhere within a compound or on a pasture/barn just drags the while compound smh

I've never tried to make compounds before and seemingly I won't in the future either. Deleted that pastureland again if I cannot put a pasture in there. Shame, because I really liked that picture.

I just tried to build a pastureland for my memorial garden, that worked, but when I tried to actually drag my memorial garden in there it did not work, it only switches all pastures up and down and the memorial one stays empty. Is there any trick to that on how to 'de-anchor' the memorial from the other pastures?

Awesome!

I did a quick forum search for "Member Show" and "Arena" to see if I could find you any more information.

Unfortunately, the most relevant to your questions is:
-HEE Click-

But it's a year old.

Some interesting bits were about players asking how to participate in member shows with some quick tips on what horses to pick for the most profit.

- if you get your arena up and running, you're welcome to message me and I'll send a couple entries your way

Hi,

1. Yes. According to the Game Guide under Member Shows and Arenas - Only those horses entered who are in the top percentile come away with prize money, which is directly related to the entry fee.
2. I believe so (I don't have an arena).
It's important to note the best case scenario is to have all classes with the maximum entries to get the best return.
There's a happy medium of the entry fee to the number of participants.

Personally, I like to enter with fees below 10k and above 200 ebs.

Check out the member shows to see what others are doing. Click through the shows and see how many entrants in each class, their fee, and how often they run (every three days or weekly, or club based).

Some days there are a ton of Cross Country shows and other days there aren't any.

Heyy!
Hope everyone is well... I have 2 questions
1. Do the member shows that have higher entry fees have higher prizes?
2. If I make the entry fee higher for a member show (I own an arena), will I get more money?

I'm not sure if this is the place to ask, but I'm interested in using patterns. Specifically ones provided by https://www.colourlovers.com.

This website provides patterns to be used in html layouts, however I'm looking for a specific colored pattern for a banner background and they provide the ability to edit their pattern templates for free use.

For something like this (if allowed) would we credit both the website and the individual creator of said pattern?

Edit: It's been a while since I've actually looked at this website, and once you've created an account (free) and created your pattern with the chosen colors they give you the option to download it in multiple sizes, not just for use in html purposes. Perfect for fiddling with HEE image sizes!

The following are some ideas for stock image sources:
DeviantART - search the Resources & Stock Images category
Unsplash
Gratisography
Reshot
Creative Commons

You can also find stock images on:
Flickr
Photobucket
Like DeviantART, not all images uploaded to these sites are free-use stock! Please make sure you have permission from the uploader/image owner.

These sites provide high-quality stock for paid subscribers:
Adobe images
istockphoto
Shutterstock
Every time you find a stock image you want to use, do a reverse image search. If the picture pops up all over the web, don't use it. It was likely stolen and uploaded to the stock site. Taking this easy extra step will help ensure that your art does not get taken down. It's no fun to have your art removed after you spend hours making it.
In addition, make sure that the stock you have found is allowed to be used here on HEE. Sometimes people provide stock that they specifically do not want people using on other sites, for financial gain (even with fake game currency), etc. Always read and follow the stock provider's rules for use of their images!
As always, make sure you are following HEE's art usage and crediting rules when making and uploading your art:

I'm not sure about editing websites, but I know a lot of people use the program GIMP, which is free to download.
