When a horse isn't gene tested I always look at the pedigree and you can normal get an almost certain idea of their genes

I dont get how to tell if my horses color is rare or not.... if I had a horse that is 1 of 1 color, is that good or bad?

1/1 is the rarest of all. The higher the second number, the less rare. Example - a Black horse that is 1/500,000 isn't rare LOL.
