So I recently started an apricot ratings project, could someone tell me what genes I need to have in order to get a apricot out of a apricot x pearl or Creme breeding? :) I got all pearls out of my matches this month so I'm probably missing something.
thank you! :)

Apricot occurs, if I'm not mistaken, when there is no Extension (EE/Ee) gene present, and when there is two copies of the pearl gene. There can also be no creme gene, otherwise it cancels out the apricot. So to put it simply, chestnut base, no creme genes.

Apricot is fully recessive: Meaning no E, no A or At, and Creme must be CC and Pearl must be prlprl Gene test should look like this: ee aa CC prlprl
