I need horse costume ideas... My trainer/second mom is hosting/running a Halloween obstacle clinic and competition, with a costume contest at the end. I'm helping organize and run, but will also be competing in-hand with my yearling colt. He is a bay roan grade Quarter Horse, approx 5 feet tall at the ears (when standing nicely).

I saw a costume once where the horse wore a sign that said "For sale. Great with Kids!!" and the handlers all had fake casts and crutches and bruises etc.. I thought it was cute.

I once saw someone make spider legs for their horse, or a pole so it looks like a carousel horse.

A girl in my 4h made cardboard boat sides and put bailing twine across the top, then draped it over her horse and rode her with a fishing pole, but he cpuld be a fisherman and you a fish because he will be "following" you
