Hi!! So I recently finally fingured out how to use the barn manager. I have about 400 horses in there, all training SD and being ridden by AD riders.
In winnings Im racking up about 3m a year total, and 1m in profit.
I was hoping for any tips on how to get even more ebs from the BM, if possible?? Thanks!
if you're feeling fancy sharing how much you make with the BM would help too to guage where I can be!

Honestly I like BM more for AD horses than SD. BM enters the horses she considers money makers and I enter the horses that are in the green in other disiplines. I have a rather large show string so its hard to say excactly how much BM earns me monthly. But the days only BM horses show I earn 1 mill in profit. Yes 1 mill in profit that day alone.

I use the barn manager have for over a year a now. I do AD and SD both are on the barn manager, I have 400 with her and usually make around 200k a night profit and about 2.5-3M a month in profit. I am actually doing way better right now I have hit 1M in just over a week.
I don't rely on SD only because with AD I feel like I always have horses in the green with them.
For tips I'd say maybe add some AD in? And I only use PPP+
It also matters how leveled they are. When I first started using her I had lower level gelds and they didn't make me more that 300k a month profit. Now I have mostly level 6+ and that's why I'm getting what I am I believe.

I also go through after she enters and enter any AD that is in the green in other disciplines!

Ok, I've switched everyone to AD and am going back after BM enters them and enter the horses who are in the green myself. I am now having much less profit, some days only making 1k more than my cost of entries. What do I do?

If you have had them in SD before and just recently switched them to AD you need to realise that they need to train up to be in the money in the disiplines they did not train in before

This is why I suggested to not switch them to ad as they will take a long time to get into the money and be show ready. If I was you I would just show the ad you already had and hold off on the SD that you switched over for at least 5 weeks.
I did this when I first started after 4 months of training in ad and it took for ever to get them back in the money , but once they did they have done well :)
So basically what artic said

Hi,
I was curious (OK nosey).
I noted three things in your barns
a. You have quite a few horses that are level 10 in 2 disciplines. Honestly I would remove these as their low profit probably won't justify the cost of the rider. Some you might get a bit of ebs if you put them up for sale to anyone wanting schoolmasters. Preferably 16 or 17 yrs old.
b. There are many horses not with optimal eventing level rider, they have red number in event level column, seen in training view. If the horse has a lower level rider than the oposition horse, they will loose and also not train up as quick.
But so many I'm not sure how to sort it out.
For me I get barn manager to 'reassign' horses. But my barn has not had the radical review you have done.
c. Did not see any young horses and level 1 or 2 riders. You need to have a few flowing through to feed into the higher levels in time. They come from mares you don't want to breed anymore and from colts you geld as not worthy for breeding as a stallion.
There is no point buying them in if you breed them yourself.
But you have done very well so so far.
Best of luck.
