Trying to shift things around in the compounds is so hard on mobile. I definitely think there should be another option to do it as well

thing with mine is i somehow got it to work once, moved a pasture to it, but now i cant delete it because its not empty. i cant empty it because i cant get it to work again- it was a miracle that it worked at all to begin with. now clicking and dragging anywhere within a compound or on a pasture/barn just drags the while compound smh

I've never tried to make compounds before and seemingly I won't in the future either. Deleted that pastureland again if I cannot put a pasture in there. Shame, because I really liked that picture.

I just tried to build a pastureland for my memorial garden, that worked, but when I tried to actually drag my memorial garden in there it did not work, it only switches all pastures up and down and the memorial one stays empty. Is there any trick to that on how to 'de-anchor' the memorial from the other pastures?

Awesome!

I did a quick forum search for "Member Show" and "Arena" to see if I could find you any more information.

Unfortunately, the most relevant to your questions is:
-HEE Click-

But it's a year old.

Some interesting bits were about players asking how to participate in member shows with some quick tips on what horses to pick for the most profit.

- if you get your arena up and running, you're welcome to message me and I'll send a couple entries your way

Hi,

1. Yes. According to the Game Guide under Member Shows and Arenas - Only those horses entered who are in the top percentile come away with prize money, which is directly related to the entry fee.
2. I believe so (I don't have an arena).
It's important to note the best case scenario is to have all classes with the maximum entries to get the best return.
There's a happy medium of the entry fee to the number of participants.

Personally, I like to enter with fees below 10k and above 200 ebs.

Check out the member shows to see what others are doing. Click through the shows and see how many entrants in each class, their fee, and how often they run (every three days or weekly, or club based).

Some days there are a ton of Cross Country shows and other days there aren't any.

Heyy!
Hope everyone is well... I have 2 questions
1. Do the member shows that have higher entry fees have higher prizes?
2. If I make the entry fee higher for a member show (I own an arena), will I get more money?

Allow me to preface by saying this piece is quite beautiful. I love the autumn vibes that emanate from it. :) You did a good job with the sun light playing with the shadow. Your BG blurring job is also quite good.
A few tips to make this piece POP would be:
In the places I circled here the lighting does not quite match the background. I would say you should darken the tail a bit more, but add some brighter highlights in. With the mane and neck area it appears to be a bit washed out. I would suggest bumping up the contrast here and drawing in some lighter highlights in the mane. I would also try to add some highlights to the neck area that follow the sun's rays. This would blend the lighting on the horse with the BG nicely. Other than this you could add a few more highlights to the face are and do one final sharpen on the horse itself. Lovely job here Pheonix. :D
Pricing wise I would start with an SB of 25k to allow for bidding. Make the AB somewhere around 150k to encourage people. When auctioning an image always keep in mind that people are looking to spend more on custom images and less on premade images therefore you have to carefully price in order to secure some ebs. Starting with a low SB and ending with an AB that you would like, yet is reasonable is safe way to go. Keep in mind though that you should always set your SB at the lowest you are willing to sell the piece for.

Thank you that was very helpful!

That's gorgeous Diamanté! If you're looking at auction prices I'd say SB if 5K and AB of 70k to encourage de bidding. I'd say people would pay a fair bit for that ;)

Stunning peice oak!
It's late so I don't have the nwrgy to do paragraphs so I'll just do some pints
1. Love the hair technique! Try working on the shape and shadow, work on studying hair for better end result
2. Don't do highlights as white, unless you use a blending layer such as soft light, try using light blue and smoothing the lines so they don't look as unnatural
3. The eye would have an outline and the puil wouldn't be as big, horses also have eyelids, try defining them more
4.i can't think of anything else right now but overall a very good peic e

You actually did a super good job with this and I would pay 80k for this relatively easy! The hair isn't stiff or overly stringy, the color of the wings and body of the horse match super well! Because if that the eye isn't too bright or too dark, and the color change for the blaze is really good. You can ever so slightly soften its edges a little bit but it's not bad at all. I like how you were able to kinda misty/foggy/snowdrifing whatever you wanna call it down at the bottom, it looks fairly natural and not out of place. Good job!
i do think the background could be slightly more blurred, the horse still has a lot of detail, and so do the wings, but the background looks a little more crisp than the horse like it's ever so slightly out of focus but that may also be a preference thing!
