Do you guys have any tank brand recommendations? I definitely need one with a lid.
Charmed Acres

They are great for supplies! Our LFS actually partners with them because of how much they recommend them.

I was thinking of ordering supplies from this company. I have heard good things and they have good guides.

Checkout used tanks often people will be nearly giving them away, just make sure to fill it up outside first for a few days to make sure it’s not leaking. Never take a tank with cracks even if they’re small and are current ply holding water
Backwood Barns
10:19:31 Charm's Wubs
Or, you can typically do it cheaper by piecing it together yourself. Tank, light, cover(optional), heater, filter, air pump, airline hoses, bubble wand, substrate, and then obviously decorations (nothing plastic) and the fish.
Kangaroo Studs

I reccomend tetras as well, you want a lot 10-20 as theyre schooling fish and they have a high casualty rate especially when you first get them

You can get a 20 gallon tall kit at most pet stores for about $200 that will include just about everything except substrate, plants, and fish.

Bird, I loved my tetras, I believe I had the 2 for 4/5 years? But do be weary when you get them, I originally had 4 but unfortunately we lost 2 very shortly after due to the 'professionals' we talked with I'll informing us on the best amount for our tank!
Hummingbird Meadows

@charm, I was hoping to keep it less than $500

Should always try our best with animals. Research is worth it

Like with anything it takes a lot of research (and it's a bit of an investment) to do things right.

Bettas are definitely able to get away with a 10. I just wouldn't go lower, they explore and swim around way more than people realize

After 3 months of work and almost 20k down the drain my truck will finally be repaired and drivable tomorrow >_< proud of myself for not giving up

Bird, Unfortunately I never got to try a planted tank, but I've heard amazing things! I do really wish I'd had time to lol
Hummingbird Meadows
10:13:39 Bird
For preferably a smaller tank. Less than 20 gallons.
Hummingbird Meadows
10:13:23 Bird
Other than betta fish, what are some good beginner fish?
Dash and Duchess
10:12:09 DD | ~Squizard~
Exactly what charm said! It really makes things easier, and the fish love it too!

This is amazing, so pretty!
I have a few things to say :)
Where the tail meets the body, you can see the signs of blurring. Blurring is great for attaching tails to horses but I can see signs of the blurring on the horse, one part of the rump looks like its been cut off and the top of the tail looks like there is some invisible spots. As for the horse, I feel it is too close to the front, maybe consider moving it more to the middle.

Overall this is an amazing piece and I wish I could do art as good as this XD

I genuinely love the mane on this horse. It is so beautiful. My recommendation is to definitely watch where your light is. In the background, you can see all of the shade with patches of light coming in through the trees. Your horse more so looks like it is put in broad daylight. I might also recommend smudging out the horse's fur slightly just to make everything look a bit smoother.

I think this is really awesome! The sponges for the horse perfectly!!! My only tiny suggestion is to erase the little snippet in between the horses ears. Great work!!!

Thank you so much! It's entered into a contest at the moment, but what art tier would you maybe categorize it in? :)

How much would you price my art at? Could I go to tier two? Exapmle in the link provided.
