The one I posted was a common one for the rescue I worked in. Never, ever caused an issue, and researched heavily.

Not as much anymore... The issue has been addressed in many rope toy brands.

Hence why the rope toys are safe to swallow... Dogs forever and always swallow bits of their toys.

And bones/antlers can cause tooth breakage

I would be careful with rope toys, can cause obstructions

Oh yes we dont have small toys anymore except for our kitten and she has them in her playpen where she sleeps at night. I will definitely put that in my cart @Versa

Oh I think I know what you are talking about! I have one but he doesnt seem to be interested in it @Angels

rope toys end up giving a dog 'hangers' when they go to take a dump

My dog used to be the same way. He would destroy any toy no mater how strong it was. The only toy he was never able to destroy was this green rubber toy shaped like an hour glass. The shape of it didn't let him get a grip on it with his teeth to break it. I have never been able to find one since. This was like 7 or 8 years ago

Well, big dogs and little dogs cause that sort of ordeal. You cannot have tiny toys anymore because it's a choking hazard for the bigger one.

Try this one:

We had a rope toy with a ball on the end that was made out of rope and it was completely destroyed in 2 days Γ°ΕΈΒ₯Β² The balls were for my little dogs and he got ahold of one and I was freaking out the whole time. We had them put up and he still managed to find them so we gifted them to my sisters little dogs

But yeah you can find some people reviewing dog toys on youtube to see if you can find any on there
Versailles
04:25:51 Versa
Well, when choosing bones anyways it's gotta be something large. Never ever a chicken bone or something small enough to swallow.

Toys should be the same way.

Have you tried rope toys? Or enrichment feeders? I had a very chewy dog and there were some that he never made it through.

Thats why I suggested cow femur because they are generally too big for the dogs to get fully in their mouth lol

Im hesitant about bones because he has a habit of trying to swallow food like things completely. We had to get rid of the balls because he shoved one in his mouth and we had a hard time getting it back out and away from him...lesson learned from that. Im looking for something to play with him with that he isnt going to be destroyed easily so he doesnt get hurt

Hi! I had no clue where to put this but here it is (if there is already a forum about this sorry)
-
I thought it would be nice to create a forum where we could learn about eachothers pets. Their likes, dislikes, personalitly, and trouble. Share their birthdays or vet trips. Give us daily reminders! I love hearing about animals!
-
You can post as many time with updates about them!
-
Please obey Eve's rules and don't show your animals name tag if they have one (phone number stays hidden)

I'll go first, i've got a few pets but i'll do them at different times
-
This is Jedda
She is named after a relatives old dog that was very special.
She is 3 Years old and a mini fox terrier.
-
She is currently sleeping curled up in her bed.
-
She hates food that is given to her more than once (fussy)
She loves cuddles and when she doesnt get what she wants she will scream...not bark...but scream.. its horrific to listen to.
Her Birthday is January 6th and I got her at 8 weeks old.
-
I tried toilet training her but she killed the puppy mats.

I feel as if this forum is a ploy for you to see people's cute animals.... 🀨
(Hehehe, 100% joking, full support and I am absolutely going to use this forum to do the same)
.
My family has a lot of animals at home...
8 cats, 4 rabbits, 2 goats, and 2 llamas to be exact. I'm not going to post 16 pictures but here are a few 😁
.
Cumu (taller, straighter ears, lighter face)
  • 7 years old
  • Gelded male llama
  • Loves kisses, tomatoes, and pine trees
Celeste
  • 5 years old
  • Female
  • miniature?
  • Very fluffy
  • Somewhat less friendly but will still come up to say hi
.
