Phantom stopped bucking turning her attention to the stallion "Yeah well it's better than kicking an actual horse..." She paused for a moment finally realizing that this was another stallion"Wait what are you doing here you are way to close to my herds territory" She slighty pinned her ears at the stallion

West opened his eyes, glancing around the herd. When his gaze dropped on Phantom.... there was something weird. It looked like she was talking to somebody. West very slowly, as not to alarm anything or anybody, shifted till he was downwind of them. He took a sniff, and got the surprise of his life. That stallion that was galloping around... inside HIS valley, talking to a mare HE was supposed to protect. West could deal with rude stallions on his land.... but not talking to mares. That was over the line. He pinned his ears and cantered up, stopping beside Phantom. "Excuse me... why are you here?" West glared at the stallion

Dixie stood still as West left. She snorted and watched as he confronted the stallion

Phantom glanced over at West who had stopped beside her, she relaxed a bit knowing that he had the strength to fight if the stallion tired to pull anything stupid. She turned her attention back to the stallion she flattened her ears even more trying to figure out if the stallion was actually going to be trouble or not

West stood tall, but he let his ears slightly union. He was angry at himself for not noticing the stallion came in sooner... the stallion could have hurt Phantom! Then again, if West knew Phantom she probably would have kicked his butt. West shook his mane and looked this stallion up and down. He was just as tall as West... which was very surprising.. but he was a lot more lean. Looked faster... but speed didn't help in a battle, unless you were the one running away.

Phantom felt short standing next to both stallions even if she was the tallest mare in the herd standing around 16hh, she didn't let the height difference scare her. If anything she puffed her chest out holding her head heigh, the last thing she wanted to do was show fear cause to her fear meant weakness. She held that rule to herself not against anyone else unless it was someone she was fighting

West flicked his tail, his eyes still narrowed. He took a small step forward, waiting... and that's when he heard the first crack of thunder. West jumped slightly, glancing up at the sky. He knew he had smelled something wrong in the air. West sniffed again. Rain would be here soon... they needed shelter. "Phantom.. let's go." He said quietly, trotting away and bellowing to call the horses of the herd. "There's a big storm coming, so we are going to take shelter in a cave I found. Yes it is big enough for all of us. Please follow me." He said, trotting to the very end of the valley. He nosed aside some vines, entering a very large cave. The ground was mossy and there was a small pond in the back corner. West held open the vines for the mares, Aurora, and Moon to filter in through Edited at April 18, 2023 08:26 AM by Wild Warmbloods

Phantom jumped badly at the sound of thunder, even though she had been through many bad storms she still hated the sound of thunder and lightening. She looked at West "Don't have to tell me twice to go" she trotted uneasy next to West she tried to not show the nervousness on her face but her tail showed it as it flicked wildly. She made sure the mares and foals got in first before she went in. She stood near the back of the cave, slightly stepping in place still being uneasy

Aurora stopped still when he heard the thunder -Aw man really a storm...- Next he heard West calling the herd her cantered over to him and Phantom then slowed to a trot. He was bummed out cause that meant he couldn't run around for who knows how long, he dipped his head to West who held back the vines for him and Moon before going in and standing near the front of it. Aurora wanted to watch for lighting, he loved the way it danced in the sky

West walked in after everyone was in. He scanned the mares, seeing Phantom did look a little nervous. He walked up to her quietly. "Hey, you okay?" West asked, shifting his weight as another, louder book of thunder echoed through the cave.
