I had a title nine teacher put me into remedial english because my reading comprehension was so low (mind you my grades were perfect, my test scores were among the top in the school, and I was literally reading hunger games level books in 4th grade) instead of actually looking at me as a whole and seeing something is probably wrong. My mom and english teacher (bless this woman, I still see her from time to time) spent three months fighting to get me out of that class and into the one that would actually match my learning speed.

That's nice! I didn't really notice until I got to college and the amount of reading I had to do every day went up exponentially. I had always just been able to compensate by putting in extra time reading at home, but when you have 100 pages of reading in 2 days with dyslexia it gets really hard to just brute force through it

I have 9 Morgans and 3 Appys and 3 QH and the Morgans are actually my least favorite; they're super high strung and bossy. I actually just got inside from trying to catch an old Morgan broodmare and ended up getting drug across the pasture, so right now they're my least favorite lol

Barrel racing is quite fun, it gives you a chance to run your horse and shows you what you can do. I disagree!

Depends on the type of western sport, but Dressage is kind of boring. It's really just pattern work. A lot of the high level horses are also very abused.

It is super fun! (With the Dressage thing... I know it is horrible what the people do to their horses. I meant fun Dressage like I do. My horse is 22 now and it helps him stay in amazing shape, and we both enjoy it!)

Er... I have to disagree.. I've fallen off many times when a horse hasn't reared up. (Granted they try to flip over in me, twirl around, and they bucked before so I'm just hanging off the horn at this point XD)
Edit: oops I'm late. Errr paints are a little better. I dim the like either that much lol

Training a baby horse is very fun (baby as in under 2 years) but getting their hooves done for the first time is just hilarious

Absolutely agree; I love seeing the progression you've made when looking back, I got my mare when she was 10 months old for 5k and she wasn't even halter broke (idk what I was thinking lol) but now she's bombproof and I can do anything with her.
