"Seriously?" He asked, astonished. He got up and held his hand out to her in offering. "Let's make it your first time, then"

Surprised at this change of events, Adele sat there for a second, before grinning and taking his hand. She stood and brushed off her dress, then tripped on her skirts and lost her balance.

Caelan easily caught her bridal-style, scopping her up before gently setting her down. "Maybe tomorrow dress in pants?" He said, teasing gently but suddenly weary of how she might take it. He took his hands off her sides, his muscular arms going back to himself as he cleared his throat. "Sorry" He muttered, offeirng his hand once more in case she tripped before taking that back to himself as well. "I wasn't trying to do anyting, I was just trying to keep..you..safe.." He said, his voice trailing off as his cheeks turned a bright red

Adele gasped, realizing she was about to fall. Then strong hands gripped her and held her steady, before putting her back upright. Adele breathed a sigh of relief. She chuckled at Caelan's comment. "I do tend to trip quite a lot, I really don't like wearing skirts. But, sadly, it's what I'm required to wear at the castle. I don't think I even own a pair of pants." Adele looked at Caelan curiously. He looked embarrassed. "Hey, it's okay. I know you were just catching me. You saved my dress from getting dirty!" She joked, then got more serious. "I'm grateful. So... about going to the beach..." She let the sentence hang in the air, looking towards the ocean.

Caelan cleared his throat again, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Uh...yeah, it' this way" He said quietly, leading the way and keeping him to himself. When they got there, he sat on the sand. "Knock yourself out" He said, smiling softly at her and gesturing to the water. "Just...be careful. I don't want to lose-I mean, it would suck if you drowned"

Adele followed Caelan down to the beach, hoping the horses would be okay if they were left alone for a little while. The smell of salt and water and earth hit Adele like a wave, and she immediately knew she loved the beach. The wind blew her dress dramatically, and she spun around, taking it all in. After soaking in the smell and sights for a few seconds, she slipped off her shoes and picked up her skirts, walking into the water. It was cool, but not too cold, and the lapping waves tickled her toes, covering them with sand. She waded in deeper, until the bottom of her dress was wet, and decided she didn't want to get soaked today. Adele lost her composure and ran down the beach, laughing at the pure joy of it all. After frolicking for what felt like hours, but was probably only six minutes, Adele walked back to shore and flopped down on the sand, tired and happy.

"So...I take it you like the beach?" He asked, chuckling and looking at the gorgeous grin on her face. He could never get over how perfect she looked, her smile automatically making her face and eyes glow. She looked like the happiest person alive.

Adele looked over at Caelan, beaming. "Of course I like it! Who wouldn't like it?! The smell," Adele breathed deeply, taking in the scent. "the feeling of the water, and the wind..." Adele smiled blissfullly. She looked over at the prince again. "Do you come here a lot?" She asked, almost jealous of Caelan, who lived so close to the beach.

"Not unless I have to...It's a hassle coming all the way out here by myself, unless some random girl follows me and wants me but those are shoved away. I'm very picky on women." He chuckled

Adele sighed dramtically. "You're so lucky to live this close to the ocean. I don't even know how far it is from my castle to the sea. You can't see it, so it's gotta be at least ten miles away. If I lived here, I'd visit every day..." Adele's eyes started drooping shut, and she blinked them open. "Sorry, I'm really tired." she appologized to Caelan, then covered a yawn with her hand. "Should we go back up to the horses or stay down here? I know the blankets are up there but I don't know if I can make it..." Her voice drifted off into another yawn.
