(Thank you, that's perfect.) Adele watched Caelan jump into the fight, torn between going in to help him or doing what he told her to. It took her a full four seconds to decide. Drawing her daggers, Adele ran toward the cougar that was closest to Caelan. She looked for an opening and sent the dagger towards the creature's stomach. The agile cat deftly dodged her attempt to stab him and swatted a paw at her, cutting into her side. Adele could tell it wasn't a deep wound, but it still hurt. She continued trying to cut the creatures, staying close to Caelan and using some of the moves he had taught her just a few minutes earlier. 'We just need to scare them off,' Adele thought, jumping back to avoid a bite from the other cougar, 'Then I can find a way to treat our wounds, and the horses'.' |

Caelan saw the cougar swipe Adele and it was the breaking point for him. His moves turned lethal to even the fiercest of predators a his eyes turned deadly and he easily killed the final cougar. "Don't touch her!" He bellowed, knowing the creature couldnt understand him but needing to say it anyways as he killed it. Panting, Caelan stood up as blood dripped down his back. He walked over to Adele, looking at her wound. "Are you okay?" He asked worriedly |

Adele helped Caelan finish off the first cougar, then stepped back to allow the prince to kill the second one on his own. It hurt to see animals killed in such a way, since they must have been incredibly hungry to take on horses. But what else could they have done? Adele flinched as the prince yelled at the dying animal, but she thought it was sweet that he would kill a cougar for her. Adele caught her breath, sheathing her daggers. "I'm fine," She said, examining her wound more closely. It was shallow, but covered a large surface area. She turned to examing Caelan's injuries. "I'm more worried about you." Concern grew on her face when she saw the blood, and Adele knew what she had to do. |

"No, I need to take care of you first, darling." He said softly, taking her hand and leading her to where the horses now stood--a little shaken up but alright otherwise. "Hey, guys. You okay?" He asked, stroking both of their noses and turning to Adele. "Do you wanna take care of it out here or in the infirmary?" He asked softly |

(sorry this one got long) Adele followed where Caelan led her, preparing for what she had to do. "Better do it here," She muttered, then checked on Calvin and Aurora. They both seemed okay, and only had a few scratches. Adele turned to Caelan. She took a deep breath, then began. "Um, so, I can heal you. Us. People!" Adele put her fingers to her temples, thinking. "Animals, too." Before Caelan could say anything, she spoke again. "DON'T ask questions. Not yet. Please." She pleaded, looking into the prince's eyes. "This would be easier for me if you closed your eyes, but I will not blame you if you open them. Take off your shirt, stand still, and don't fidget too much. This should only take a few minutes. Stay there, no matter what." Adele waited for Caelan to get situated, then, eyes still locked onto the prince's, she cracked her knuckles and stretched her arms, preparing. Adele closed her eyes, and focused on her breathing. After about half a minute, she raised her hands in front of her chest and clasped them together. A low humming sound, almost musical, began, until it stopped being a sound and became a light. The green light swirled around Adele, foggy and magical. Soon she disappeared from view in the swirling fog. Then, in a strong burst of the green light, a brown wolf stepped out and walked towards the prince. The light dissipated, leaving only the prince, the wolf, and the two horses, who were now grazing contentedly. The wolf padded silently up to the prince, then around to his back. The humming started again, but no light followed. The wolf lifted a paw and placed it on the prince's back, slowly moving it around until the magic had reached all the wounds. The paw was warm, soothing, and soft, and the scratches and gouges slowly, so slowly, began to heal. The wolf placed its paw back on the ground and walked back in front of the prince. In another burst of green light and the musical humming sound, the wolf was replaced with a young woman. Adele stepped out of the fog, a nervous look on her face. |

Caelan listened with soft eyes and a small, simple nod. He watched her curiously without moving and when she was finished, he stood. "You're amazing" He breathed, not caring if she was different or part wolf or really anything at all. She was still who he wanted. He walked over to her, and looked her over. "You alright? Tired or anything?" He asked, offering his hand to her |

Surprised that Caelan wasn't leaping up, shouting, and running away, the only Adele could do was stand there. Finally, she said, "Wait, you don't care that I'm a... A you-know-what?" It still felt weird to say the word, so she didn't, and instead assumed the prince knew what species she was talking about. "They're-- WE're feared all over. You're not... Worried that I'll turn evil?" . (For now we're gonna pretend that some mevaitas a long time ago went crazy and killed a bunch of people. That's why everyone's afraid of them.) |

"Adele, was I terrified? Yes, of course. Do I trust you? Again, yes, of course. You wouldn't hurt me, darling." He said, smiling softly. "Trust me and I'll trust you. Break that trust, and I can't promise there won't be major consequences, though." He noted, his smile faltering. "I'm absolutely terrified right now but my mother taught me to hide nearly every emotion I have. I just trust you and feel safe around you." |

Adele listened, tears welling in her eyes as he spoke. She gulped, tried to say something, but couldn't, and crumpled down, sobbing with relief. She couldn't believe Caelan hadn't immediately run to the first person he could find and report her to the city guard! It was all too much. But then again, it wasn't too much. She had finally told someone the secret she had been holding for eight years. It felt as if a 1000 pound weight had been lifted off her shoulders, and she could finally stand again. |

I get so excited when you post I literally giggle with happiness lol) Caelan knelt beside her, rubbing her back. "Hey, hey, was it something I said? Did I hurt you? what's wrong? Are you hurt?" He asked frantically, looking her over. "Hey, Adele, what's wrong, darling?" |
