(Aww yay! I also look forward to seeing that game mail notification, but I wouldn't say I giggle XD) Feeling Caelan massaging her back, Adele looked up through wet eyes. "Nothing's wrong. I'm really, really, happy." She said, smiling through her tears. After a second, she wrapped her arms around Caelan and hugged him tight, still smiling and crying.

Caelan smiled softly and hugged her back gently, burying his face in her hair. He held onto her as long as she wanted, just rubbing her back and contentedly holding her

After a little while, Adele released her grip from the prince and dried her tears, which had stopped flowing. She smiled apologetically at him and said, "Sorry for my emotional breakdown, it's just that I've been holding that secret in for so long, and it feels so good to have finally told someone." Adele wiped her eyes again, still feeling as light as a bird. She stepped up to Caelan and kissed his cheek, then turned and went to make sure the horses were still okay.

"It's alright. Everyone cries, even me and you saw it." He noted softly, watching her with a soft smile as he walked to his mare. "We should head back" He said, mounting up and watching Adele. He led her back to the stable, leaving the horses to the skittish groom on-duty. "Thanks" Caelan muttered to the young man, placing his hand on the small of Adele's back and leading her toward the castle. His mother stopped him in the hall with a glare. "May I help you, mother?" He said, slightly snappy from exhaustion. His mother's gaze bounced between the two of them before she scoffed and strode away. "So judgemental. Oh, and I'm so sorry for cursing in your presence earlier, darling" He said softly to Adele, keeping his voice quiet as he led her to his room. He flopped onto the bed and patted the space beside him

Adele nodded. "Yeah, I guess we should." She helped Caelan tack up the horses and ather their stuff, sad to leave the place behind. It held so many memories... But why think about that now? They'd probably come back tomorrow as soon as they could. Best to live in the present and not dwell in the past. When they reached the stable, Adele smiled kindly at the groom, who's eyes grew wide and he bowed until they were gone. Adele was glad to see Caelan being kinder to the stable hands. She tensed when the queen strode up to them, and breathed a sigh of relief when she left without saying a word. Adele followed Caelan to his room and sat down on the bed next to the prince. "It's all right. It's just that it's rare to hear words like that it the palace. I just ask that you try not to do it again, okay?" She said, taking his hand rubbing her thumb over it.

"Of course" He said softly, nodding and sitting there on his bed. "Is there anything else you'd like to know about me? Because if not, I have a question for you."

Adele paused, thinking. "No, there's nothing else that's as important as that is." She looked at the prince curiously, almost nervous about what he was going to say. "Go on."

"Um...I understand if you say no or think I'm moving too fast, but I really, really like you. I would protect you with my life and I love to see you smile. Adele, will you be my girlfriend?"

Adele's face grew dark, and she thought it over with a grave expression. "You know..." She started, "I thought we kind of already decided that?" Her face broke into a smile and her eyes sparkled. "But please don't propose yet, that's a whole other level." She added, teasing. "Of course, Caelan! I really like you too, a lot. You're kind, caring, and understand everything I'm going through. I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend." Adele's hand moved from his and she kissed him, flooding the rest of her body with a tingling warmth.
