Malakai Negri - Malakai calmed down in her arms before leaning back again, with her help. He looked up at her, taking deep breaths to steady himself. He took his good hand and wiped his tears away with the back of his hand. He nodded, "I'm okay...." he replied, barely above a whisper. |

Camery Valatieri - Camery gave him a small smile when he seemed to settle down. She held him close as she could, her eyes soft. "Sure?" She asked gently leaning forwards until he was back against the bed, her arms slipping away from him slowly, but still very much there as a comfort. Or, at least, she hoped it was a comfort. "I've got you, you know," she whispered gently to him. She just wanted him to be okay.

Malakai nodded. He kept his hand on hers as she moved away, respecting her space, but needing the contact. "Falling... but I fell onto you... and killed you...." he whispered. |

Camery nodded softly, squeezing his hand. "Well, I'm still here," she murmured, her hand playing with anything it could, hoping to be comforting somehow. "And I'm okay... and you're... less okay, but alive," she added gently, trying him a soft smile. "Lots of people are worried about you, you know. Do you remember what happened?" |

Malakai nodded vaguely. "I remember... the fall... I remember bleeding..." he murmured, closing his eyes for try and focus on what happened that night. |

Camery watched him for a moment as he tried to remember... she couldn't even imagine what he was feeling. She already knew she'd upset him, she knew he was already fragile, but this? It had to be scary. Someone was trying to kill him, and they were inside the walls of this castle. Camery suddenly felt so... exposed. She knew she was the first person people would think of, given the rivalry between their kingdoms, but hell, last night hadn't helped. Anyone who heard them yelling at eachother would automatically assume that she'd done it, too. "You didn't see anything?" she asked softly. |

Malakai thought for a moment, brows furrowing, eyes still closed. Kai shook his head. "No... just the blood, wings and the ground..." he trailed off. . (Idea, wht if it's Orianna? She got drunk and in love with him and got angry when he kissed Camery like that on the dance floor. So bc she's so drunk, she stupidly shoots him down out of anger. She regrets what she did and is horrified with herself. So that's why she froze up when she went to see him with his mom.) |

(Ohh, yeah I like that! I was thinking it would be cool to keep her involved for a bit too!) Camery sat next to him, watching his expression change as he thought. Watching as his brows furrowed together, or how his nose wrinkled at the idea of it all. She hummed and picked up the pen again, sort of going to draw on the cast on his arm again, her patterns keeping her occupied. "Okay... well, keep thinking, yeah? We're gonna need you to," she murmured softly. "For now, though, I need you to get better," she then added gently. |

Kai nodded, watching her pick up her pen and started drawing on his cast. "How long have you been here?" He asked, hoping that wasn't too rude. He didn't mean it too, but he didn't know how long he was unconscious for, and then he didn't know how long he'd been asleep for. He just wanted to know if she was taking care of herself. |

Camery raised a brow at his question, a small look of worry crossing her face when she realised he probably didn't want her there. She'd just broken his heart infront of all the other kingdoms. She was probably the last person he wanted to see. "Since... 7 this morning?" She estimated. "It's nearly three now," she then added. She looked at him for a moment. "I can go if you wanna be alone." |
