Caden put a hand on the door and sighed before going downstairs.

Rosa eventually stepped out after a few hours, tear stains evident and eyes red from crying

Caden was asleep already,as nightfall had appered.The lights were out and Murphy was snuggled up next to him.

Rosa felt bad. She brought over a blanket and lay it over Caden and Murphy.

Caden slept roughly,flinching here and there in his sleep.

Rosa looks ashamed. "I'm sorry" she whispers, taking Caden's hand and kneeling next to him till she fell asleep too

Caden awoke as dawn was starting to settle.He saw Rosa and quietly got up before heading to Seven. "Hey future-Rosa's-horse."

Rosa yawned, waking up. She looked around, not spotting Caden. She thought that he must have left already

Caden fed Seven his grain.

Rosa curled back up to sleep for a few more hours
