Al, That is a good idea. I implemented separating the stronger horses maybe 6 months ago...now i guess(like you say) i can go through them and see how they have fared... |

Adding up my Breeding income since the 12th August. $362,550 in breeding profits. Not too bad, considering they also show for me as well. |

Like you can keep the mares as broods/showhorses, but dont breed them yourself |

Sting, another thing you can consider is to pull out mares that doesnt give you what you want after a certain amount of foals. With my WWW's I cull depending on LB standing. My SD is culled at 5 years old dependin on how they produce, their rating or preferably better |

I like offering EEE's to the public. I have some great colours. plus some have good bravery. They all show well anyway as studs. |

Al, Possibly...? I suppose i though that if i bred decently Strong EEE's together that they might naturally breed up...Doesn't seem to be working that way though. You are probably right. Ill try to change it up a bit. The perks of the EEE boys is the array of colours that i have. But i suppose i can just put more work into my mares now. I appreciate your thoughts and help! |
