(sorry I've been off for so long) Back when they were all playing ~ Mystery snorted looking offended by what Ghost said "One of the shortest? No! I'm WAY taller then Duchess so she can't laugh! I'm almost as tall as you doofus!" Mystery said trying to sound annoyed but she could NEVER be annoyed. (Mystery is 17.3hh... XD) To the present ~ Mystery watched as Ghost left and Duchess spoke to When. She grazed for a while before following When after Ghost and Duchess ganged up on him "Hey When.. You okay? They obviously didn't mean it" Mystery instantly tried mediating |

Duchess saw mystery follow When, she knew mystery would be able to help. in the meantime, duchess looked at ghost, he hadn't said anything, she could tell he was really confused, even scared of something. "Ghost,if you need help with something, im always here." she turned, looked back and trotted off. |

ghost shook his head "no im fine duchess thanks" he bumped her sholder with his nose before starting to walk back up the hill |

Duchess smiled and turned to leave. She was feeling a little bored and decided to canter through some jumps and challenge herself a bit. she trotted to an open strip and hoped into a canter from a standstill (duchie did this today and i was shook, went from grazing to full canter in .2 seconds.) and pulled into a gallop. she was nearing a brush of trees so she skidded to a stop and turned to start again, throwing her legs in the air and bucking. finally she stopped and collapsed on the ground with a thud, looking up. it was nearly nightime and duchess was still out, she realized ghost would wonder were she was so she began to trot back to the herd |

When looked at mystery "yeah I know just wanted to think about what an idiot I was for a second" he looked at the mare and sighed. |

(aww no way was she spooked? Or just did it for the fun?) Mystery's ears fell back with sorrow as When spoke, she felt bad that he or anyone would feel this way. She got lost in thought for a moment before coming back to reality "Hey, you're not a idiot! No one is, you're only a idiot if you betray the herd!" Mystery said rather confidently nodding her head, she scanned around, all the other horses were either grazing or laying about, she spoke still looked at the other horses "Have you done anything to betray Ghost and Duchess?" She finally looked at When again "Cause I don't think so, now cheer up. It's okay to be cheeky, but maaaaaybe not towards the leaders..." Mystery rolled her eyes to exaggerate. Her gaze landing on top of the hill where Ghost was. Duchess wasn't there though, which Mystery thought was strange, but she stopped worrying once she scented Duchess near by |

Duchess soon emerged from the woods and shooke her head before sticking a leg out and rubbing her face against it (she does this in real life, she's an itchy girl because of the bugs and skin issues caused by them) she lifted her head and began to trot towards the bottom of the hill, she ascended the the hill and passed ghost, the sun was getting low and she looked back to tell ghost "I'll go check on the north side of the hill" she walked northbound to check on the herd members.. |
