Kai nodded, "yes, Im sure,"

Cam just nodded and moved to limpet back onto him, hugging him tight. She didn't know what was happening... how could she help him? "Maybe we should go talk to your mother," she whispered softly.

Camery took his hands and gave him a gentle squeeze once she'd made sure those awful talons had disappeared. God... what was going on? was he not telling her something? That had to have been the case. She sighed and leaned in to press a soft kiss to his lips, and offered a small, slightly nervous smile. "Love you, yeah? We're gonna figure this all out," she promised gently.

Kai nodded, and leaned into her. He stood and hugged her, breathing into her shoulder. He knew he'd had powers, but only because his mother told him he did, not because he'd ever used them. He'd been taught to never use them and never tell anyone. "Should we go now?" he whispered.

Cam hugged him tight, her hand trailing up the nape of his neck then neck into his hair in a way she could only hope to be soothing. What was going on? She was still convinced she'd done something to upset him. They had to figure this whole thing out. It could be dangerous, especially with those talons of his... if they came out like that while they were cuddling he could so easily hurt her. She sat back a little, gently patting his shoulder before offering a gentle smile. "Yeah, I think that's a good idea," she whispered as she offered him her light kiss to the head, holding her hand out to him to lead him down there.

Kai nodded, taking her hand and getting up. He really didn't know what was wrong with him. He hadn't been upset, he was so happy just to cuddle. Hand in hand, the two of them walked down to his mothers room where she was sipping her morning tea on her balcony. She turned to the pair and smiled, making her way over to them. "Good morning, how are you this morning?"

Camery squeeezed his hand softly as he took it, and wandered along next to him with her shoulder pressing softly against his. She could practically feel his magic radiating off him... and, as powerful as that felt, it was terrifying all the same. She didn't want to think about what could happen if he'd somehow flipped a switch and gotten upset with her. He wasn't aggressive in the slightest, and he'd only really raised his voice at her once or twice, but if his magic took over while he was upset or... something, he could really cause some damage. She let out a soft breath at the thought of it all, although when she saw the man's mother, she offered a happy little smile. "Morning!" She chirped, settling down next to her and dragging Kai along with her. She looked thoughtful for a moment, then shook her head and glanced over at Kai... this definitely seemed like the sort of thing he should say.
