Gale yelled in pain as she smacked his back, sprinting faster. "If I set you down I would've left you in dust ages ago, so shut up and let me get us out of here." He snapped, voice laced with some venom. The man saw a horse approaching and grabbed the inside rein, yanking it into a opposite direction before darting away. |

Gale was going strong when he felt a blinding flash of white hot agony on the back of his neck, and in his leg. The impact almost sent him to the ground, barely catching himself as he darted into a cave, finding a deep point and pushing Kayla against the wall, pressing himself against her as they hid in the shadows. "Not a single goddamn word." |

Colm and his men walked into the cave, Gale pressing her even closer to the wall now. He stopped breathing, watching as Colm himself was behind him before scoffing and walking out. Gale backed up only a smidge, making sure they were gone before relaxing. |
