Kai drifted off, cuddled in close to her.

Cam woke up tiredly the next morning, much later than she would have normally. She sighed, turning into Kai and burying into his neck, her hand resting lightly on her stomach as she tried to get back to sleep.

Kai remained asleep, instinctively hugging her close.

Cam hummed softly as he pulled her in, and tried for a short while to fall back asleep before eventually giving up. She groaned quietly, although soon moved to sort of watch Kai as he slept. He looked so... calm. She couldn't help her small smile as she leaned up to press her lips to his forehead, clearly at ease with everything.

Kai, still asleep, smiled lightly and hummed contently.

Camery smiled softly, and after a moment sort of moved to curl around him to get comfortable.

Eventually Kai woke with a soft smile, "Good morning..." he whispered.

Camery watched him for a soft while, although when he woke up, she couldn't help her smile. She leaned in to press a gentle kiss to his lips, her eyes light. "Hey, baby," she mused gently.

Kai lit up, grinning lazily. "Hows our little nugget?"

Camery smiled softly at him, her hand resting softly on his cheek before moving to our stomach. "Little nugget," she repeated with a small chuckle, then shook her head. "They're doing... fine, I hope," she hummed, looking down for just a moment before sighing.
