what is AD?
Cloud Peak Stables
06:13:55 Cloud
Like Sue said, AD will make more money but also takes more time on your part. SD is easier but the horse is limited to one discipline with blocks of time where they aren't ready to compete. No one way is better for PPE/PEE/EWE type ratings.

@ Ariel, I train in AD and show starting with the best rating and when the Horse levels up in that, I show them in the next best discipline. Often they make more points and money in this way
Shamrock Equines
06:08:02 Crowley
I show SDs so highest rating gets used.

Guys, how do you show geldings that have uneven ratings, i.e. PPE, PEE, EWE, etc? AD or SD?

Same here Capp xD The SD stuff is easy enough to show by hand anyway.

Just gonna update this regular on buddy ❤️ We’ve had him since he was 6months and was turned away for some time by my aunt until 2 years ago. Where I backed him and did schooling myself. He is now 6 and such a good egg!
He is a thoroughbred X friesian. His head carriage is all natural thank the lord 🤣 standing at 15hh and seems to keep growing!
It’s not only me that rides him. Because I have 5 other horses me and my friend share him, she part loans him at my field ^^

We hope to get him on the road with a rider soon! He’s only ever been walked down there never ridden so it will be interesting!
I’ll add photos later!

Thanks! Hopefully getting more photos of him tomorrow!

HeÂ’s recently been doing some road work and has been leading my horse out! HeÂ’s such a great horse to teach and honestly is a perfect ride! No nasty spooks or shy always!
