on my main when I was still trying to start out, I spent a good bit on a young EEE mare, she actually trained pretty decently. but never threw anything besides PPP foals, even bred to strong studs and using items. it was pretty disappointing, especially since I'd hoped she'd be a good breeder to get stronger foals from

Oh wow, nice.

Diva yeah, that is the problem. I only have a bit over 500k. And no broodmares. 🤣 But I am absolutely HOPELESS at judging values. Does anyone know where to find good tips for giving someone a good offer price?

You usually get good proven ones via forum or by pming players and making deals for their private stock. It costs though, hence they called good proven mares :)

Yeah, back when I used to run this account I had a lot of EPP combos. Maybe I should just try and bring my TB account back - I have some decent WW horses on there lol. They are all getting old thought

Yeah. I find it hard to get good mares who have good, consistent offspring ratings.

So I recently went out riding on my newer mare. She did good for the first few minutes. We walked past my older mare just fine but later she wouldn't leave Bella (my older mare). Emma (my newer mare) would stand there beside her and paw at the ground. She'd only move when Bella moved. Anyone know how to fix this following problem?

Most likely herd bound.

does she normally stay in a pasture with your older mare?
My mares get really herd bound.

Yes she does. But when we got her, she was the only horse there

I am pretty sure they could get herd bound that quick.
I would maybe search on it a bit so what you can find.

It sounds like you have a heard bound problem.

So I own a proud cut gelding that used to be extremely herd bound.

What I did was work him in the next pen from his paddock mates. I started on the ground. I worked him at free lunge for 5 days. For 5 more days it was riding him bare back with no tack. By the tenth day I could ride away from his mates.
