Today I have found out I have Psoas Para tendinitis (tendinitis in my hip flexor) and also hip impingement and capsule irritation... In layman's terms my hip is fucked.
I'm really upset about this as I'm an athlete (rower) and my whole life is consumed and focused on sport performance, so this is a massive setback - and naturally I think why me?! But I'm trying to remain positive, but I can't do anything, I can't row, cycle, run or even walk for long. And for me working out is a total escape so I'm really upset.
And to add insult to injury, all diagnostics and treatments are abhorrently expensive! Either surgery or steroid injections along with multiple MRIs, which is all mounting up to be quite a hefty bill, I do live in the UK, but this isn't covered by the NHS and my private insurance doesn't cover this either. So overall not my best day lol :')

TLDR:

I am hurt lol and I can't do what I enjoy and it costs me a lot too!

I feel so bad for you- but this was God's plan. He's doing this to open a new door in your life. We all have setbacks, yes, but some benefit us in the long run. Our minds cannot comprehend that something horrible can turn into something amazing in the future. Who knows, maybe you can study stuff like this and make a difference to help other people that have this problem. God knows what he's doing- ups and downs only make us stronger. don't lose sight of what really matters, and stay positive. God loves you, and if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here.
